Welcome to the virtual classroom for learners!

Laptop with Cup of Tea

At the CNIB Literacy Program for Deafblind Adults, we try to provide a variety of learning opportunities to meet the many different needs of our students.

These may include: one-to-one tutoring, small group classes, workshops, remote classes and now E-Learning in our MOODLE classroom

With our new E-Learning program you can work on your Literacy goals from home at the time that is best for you. You will still be working with a Literacy instructor, still have contact with other students and best of all, you will be able to choose different learning topics and skills to work on.

So, if you live too far away to come to a class in-person or if transportation or family responsibilities make it hard for you to get away from home you can login to your computer, pour yourself a nice cup of tea and  Link in to Learning with Us”

Mouse connect to the word NEWWelcome to the CNIB Literacy Program Moodle site.  Today is the start of something new!  It's a new way of learning for individuals who either live too far away to come to a literacy class in person, prefer to learn in the comfort of their home or are interested in more computer based training opportunities.

There are already a few offerings in the course categories section and over the next few months there will be many more.

In order to take part in the Moodle courses you must be a registered learner in one of the CNIB Literacy Programs in; Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, Brantford or London.  Contact your local CNIB office to register for the programs.

We are looking forward to meeting and working with everyone!
